Product Condition Policy
This Product Condition Policy explains how Snappy Golf Cars describes the condition of golf carts, parts, accessories and related products, including new, used, refurbished, restored, modified and customized merchandise.
Last Updated: September 13, 2026
Helping You Understand What You Are Buying
Snappy Golf Cars is committed to providing customers with clear and useful information about the condition of products offered for sale.
Golf carts and related equipment may be available in different conditions. Some products may be new, while others may be used, refurbished, restored, repaired, upgraded, modified, customized, or fitted with replacement or aftermarket components.
The applicable product listing, photographs, descriptions and transaction information should be reviewed together when evaluating a particular product.
Scope of This Product Condition Policy
This policy applies to condition descriptions for products sold directly by Snappy Golf Cars, including where applicable:
- Complete golf carts.
- Used golf carts.
- New golf carts.
- Refurbished or restored golf carts.
- Customized or modified golf carts.
- Parts and replacement components.
- Accessories.
- Wheels and tires.
- Seats and body components.
- Electrical and lighting products.
- Other merchandise sold by Snappy Golf Cars.
Our Approach to Product Condition
We make reasonable efforts to describe products in a manner that helps customers understand their material condition before purchase.
Depending on the product, condition information may be communicated through:
- The product title.
- The product description.
- Product photographs.
- Condition notes.
- Written quotations or invoices.
- Customer-service communications.
- Other information supplied before purchase.
Condition Categories
New Products
Products represented as new should not be interpreted to mean that they have never been handled, moved, inspected, assembled, prepared or transported.
New products may undergo normal commercial activities such as:
- Transportation.
- Warehouse or showroom handling.
- Inspection.
- Assembly.
- Battery connection or preparation.
- Accessory installation.
- Cleaning and delivery preparation.
These ordinary preparation activities do not by themselves convert a new product into a used product.
Used Golf Carts
A used golf cart has previously been owned, operated, registered, leased, demonstrated, or otherwise used before its current sale, depending on the individual vehicle's history.
Used carts may display reasonable signs of previous use such as:
- Minor scratches.
- Scuffs.
- Small paint imperfections.
- Seat wear.
- Tire wear.
- Normal underbody wear.
- Minor marks on plastics or trim.
- Signs of previous maintenance.
- Replacement components.
Used Does Not Mean Defective
The fact that a product is used does not automatically mean that the product is defective.
Ordinary age-related or use-related characteristics that are consistent with the product's disclosed condition may be different from an actual defect or material misrepresentation.
Refurbished & Restored Golf Carts
A refurbished or restored golf cart may have undergone work intended to improve its appearance, operation or usability.
Work may include:
- Cleaning.
- Mechanical servicing.
- Replacement components.
- Electrical repair.
- Body work.
- Seat replacement or repair.
- Wheel or tire replacement.
- Accessory replacement.
- Cosmetic improvements.
Refurbishment does not necessarily mean that every component has been replaced with a brand-new component.
Restoration Standards Can Vary
The terms refurbished, restored, reconditioned and similar descriptions can cover different levels of work depending on the individual golf cart.
Customers should rely on the applicable product description rather than assuming that every refurbished product has undergone exactly the same work.
Modified Golf Carts
Some golf carts may have been modified from their original factory configuration.
Modifications may include:
- Seats.
- Wheels.
- Tires.
- Lighting.
- Mirrors.
- Windshields.
- Body components.
- Storage accessories.
- Suspension-related components.
- Appearance upgrades.
- Other installed equipment.
Customized Products
A customized product is a product configured or modified using options requested or selected for a specific transaction.
Because custom products can involve customer-specific work, they may have different cancellation or return eligibility.
Review our Cancellation Policy and Refund & Returns Policy .
Replacement Components
Used, repaired, refurbished or modified golf carts may contain components that differ from those originally installed when the vehicle was manufactured.
Replacement components may result from:
- Ordinary maintenance.
- Wear-related replacement.
- Repair.
- Restoration.
- Customization.
- Upgrading.
OEM & Aftermarket Components
Replacement components may be manufacturer-branded, OEM, aftermarket, compatible replacement components, or another appropriately described product.
Customers who require an OEM component should verify that the applicable listing expressly identifies the product that way.
Additional information is available in our Product Authenticity Policy .
Batteries
Battery configuration and condition can vary between golf carts.
Depending on the specific product, a cart may contain batteries that are:
- New.
- Previously used.
- Replacement batteries.
- Installed during refurbishment.
- Otherwise described in the applicable listing or transaction.
Battery performance naturally depends on factors including age, maintenance, charging practices, temperature, load, usage patterns and battery type.
Battery Age & Runtime Expectations
Unless a specific runtime or battery specification is expressly guaranteed in writing for a particular transaction, customers should not assume that every battery will deliver identical operating time or performance.
If battery age, type or expected performance is important to your purchase decision, contact us before ordering.
Tires & Wheels
Used products may have tires and wheels showing ordinary prior use.
Tires can vary in:
- Tread depth.
- Brand.
- Age.
- Style.
- Size.
- Previous use.
Replacement wheels or tires do not automatically indicate that the underlying golf cart is improperly represented.
Seats, Upholstery & Interior Surfaces
Used carts may show ordinary signs of use on seats and interior surfaces.
Depending on the product, these may include:
- Light creasing.
- Minor marks.
- Normal fading.
- Signs of previous cleaning.
- Replacement upholstery.
Bodywork & Cosmetic Appearance
Used or refurbished golf carts may show cosmetic characteristics consistent with age and prior use.
These may include:
- Minor scratches.
- Small chips.
- Scuffs.
- Minor discoloration.
- Small imperfections in trim or plastics.
- Evidence of touch-up or cosmetic repair.
Normal Wear vs. Material Damage
Ordinary wear associated with a used product should be distinguished from material undisclosed damage.
| Example | General Classification |
|---|---|
| Minor scuff on a used cart | May constitute ordinary cosmetic wear depending on the disclosed condition. |
| Normal tire wear | May be consistent with previous use. |
| Small paint imperfection | May be ordinary cosmetic wear on a used vehicle. |
| Significant undisclosed transportation damage | Should be reported promptly as a shipping-damage issue. |
| Material difference from the advertised product | Should be reported for review as a possible misrepresentation or fulfillment issue. |
Mechanical Condition
Where relevant, Snappy Golf Cars may provide information concerning the operational or mechanical condition of a golf cart.
Customers should understand that used mechanical and electrical components naturally experience age and wear.
The condition of a used product should be evaluated according to its stated condition rather than against the expectation of a factory-new product unless the product is expressly represented as new.
Routine Maintenance
Golf carts require ongoing maintenance.
Depending on the product and usage, maintenance may include:
- Battery care.
- Tire maintenance.
- Brake inspection.
- Electrical checks.
- Cleaning.
- Lubrication where applicable.
- Inspection of moving or wear components.
Future routine maintenance requirements do not automatically mean a product was defective when purchased.
Product Photographs
Photographs are an important part of product-condition information.
Depending on the listing, photographs may show:
- The actual product being sold.
- A representative product.
- A manufacturer image.
- A comparable product configuration.
Customers should review both photographs and written descriptions.
Representative Images
Where a listing uses a representative image rather than a photograph of the exact item, the actual product may show reasonable differences in appearance, accessories, markings or condition consistent with its listing.
If receiving the exact pictured item is important, contact Snappy Golf Cars before purchase for clarification.
Color & Screen Differences
Product colors can appear slightly different depending on:
- Screen settings.
- Lighting.
- Camera settings.
- Photography conditions.
- Product age.
- Normal variation in materials.
Minor display differences alone do not necessarily indicate that a product was incorrectly supplied.
Specifications
Product specifications may vary by model, year, configuration, modification and manufacturer revision.
Customers requiring a particular specification should confirm that requirement before placing an order.
Parts & Accessories Condition
Parts and accessories should be evaluated according to the condition stated in their applicable listing.
A part may be represented as:
- New.
- Used.
- Replacement.
- Aftermarket.
- Compatible.
- Otherwise specifically described.
Compatibility
Product condition and product compatibility are separate matters.
A part may be new but still be unsuitable for a customer's particular cart if the model, year or configuration does not match.
Customers should verify compatibility before ordering where compatibility is not obvious.
Condition Inspection
Where appropriate, Snappy Golf Cars may inspect products for condition, identification, preparation or fulfillment purposes.
The scope of inspection may vary by product and should not be interpreted as a guarantee that a used item will remain free from all future maintenance needs.
Our Product Condition Process
Questions Before Purchase
If a specific condition detail is important to your decision, contact Snappy Golf Cars before purchasing.
You may wish to ask about:
- Cosmetic appearance.
- Battery information.
- Tires.
- Seats.
- Installed accessories.
- Modification history where available.
- Replacement components.
- Model configuration.
- Other material condition details.
Inspection Upon Delivery
Customers should inspect delivered products promptly.
For freight-delivered golf carts, check for visible transportation damage before signing delivery paperwork where reasonably possible.
Photograph any visible freight damage and note it with the carrier when appropriate.
Shipping Damage Is Not Product Condition
Damage occurring during transportation is different from the product's pre-shipment condition.
If a product arrives with visible shipping damage, contact Snappy Golf Cars as soon as possible, preferably within 48 hours of delivery.
Review our Shipping & Delivery Policy .
Reporting a Condition Concern
If you believe a delivered product materially differs from the condition represented before purchase, contact us promptly.
Please provide:
- Your order number.
- The product involved.
- A clear description of the concern.
- Photographs showing the issue.
- Photographs of packaging where shipping damage may be involved.
- Any other information reasonably relevant to the concern.
How Condition Concerns Are Reviewed
When a legitimate condition concern is reported, Snappy Golf Cars may review:
- The original product listing.
- Product photographs.
- Order documentation.
- Condition notes.
- Shipping information.
- Customer photographs.
- Customer communications.
- Other relevant information.
If the Product Was Materially Misdescribed
If review determines that a product was materially inconsistent with the condition in which it was represented, Snappy Golf Cars will review the appropriate resolution based on the circumstances.
This may include where applicable:
- Providing clarification.
- Correcting product information.
- Arranging an eligible return.
- Providing another appropriate resolution.
Returns
Eligible return requests generally need to be made within 14 days of confirmed delivery, subject to the conditions and exclusions stated in our Refund & Returns Policy .
Products should not be returned without following the applicable return authorization process.
Condition of Returned Products
A product being returned for a normal eligible return should remain in the condition required by the Refund & Returns Policy.
Customers may be responsible for damage, modification or deterioration occurring after delivery where the issue was caused by customer use, mishandling or unauthorized alteration.
Refund Processing
If a return is approved following applicable inspection and refund requirements, Snappy Golf Cars generally processes the refund within approximately 5–10 business days.
Approved refunds are generally issued to the original payment method.
Custom & Made-to-Order Products
Customized, specially ordered or made-to-order products may have limited return eligibility because they have been prepared according to a particular transaction or customer request.
Customers should review cancellation and return terms before approving custom work.
Pre-Order Product Condition
A product being sold through pre-order does not itself define its physical condition.
Pre-order simply relates to future availability.
The condition of the applicable product should be determined from the individual listing or transaction information.
See our Pre-Order Policy .
Discounted Products
A promotional or discounted price does not automatically indicate that a product is damaged, defective, used or refurbished.
The applicable product condition should be determined from the product listing rather than inferred from the price.
See our Promotional Terms & Conditions .
Clearance & Final-Sale Products
Where a product is marked as clearance or final sale, the product's condition should still be considered separately from its return eligibility.
A reduced price does not automatically mean the product is defective.
Any applicable return restriction should be reviewed before purchase.
Authenticity & Condition
Product authenticity relates primarily to identity, manufacturer, brand or origin representation.
Product condition relates primarily to the physical and operational state in which the item is being offered.
A genuine manufacturer golf cart can be several years old, used, refurbished and fitted with aftermarket wheels. Those features relate to condition and configuration and do not automatically make the underlying golf cart counterfeit.
Review our Product Authenticity Policy .
Warranty & Condition
Product condition should not be treated as an automatic representation that a particular manufacturer warranty applies.
Warranty availability can depend on:
- The product.
- Manufacturer terms.
- Product age.
- Previous ownership.
- Modification history.
- Specific written warranty information supplied with the transaction.
Changes After Delivery
Product condition can change after delivery through:
- Ordinary use.
- Accidents.
- Improper storage.
- Weather exposure.
- Improper charging.
- Customer modifications.
- Unauthorized repairs.
- Failure to perform appropriate maintenance.
Snappy Golf Cars cannot treat customer-caused deterioration after delivery as though it were necessarily present when the product was supplied.
Customer Responsibilities
Before purchasing, customers should:
- Read the complete product description.
- Review all available photographs.
- Confirm whether the product is new, used or otherwise described.
- Review modification and accessory information where applicable.
- Ask about important cosmetic details.
- Confirm required specifications.
- Verify parts compatibility where necessary.
- Ask about battery information where it is important.

Full transportation requirements are available in our Shipping & Delivery Policy .
Order Cancellation Before Delivery
Product-condition questions should preferably be raised before fulfillment.
Eligible orders may generally be requested for cancellation within 24 hours of purchase, provided the order has not already progressed beyond an eligible cancellation stage.
Review our Cancellation Policy .

Personal information is handled according to our Privacy Policy .
